I was hammering Wacom support for the lack of proper Sierra drivers for months and I think my feedback helped them get a working driver in 6 (damn!) months. Download older version of java. Apparently Apple completely changed the way the mouse HID works in Sierra so they had development issues, but that's not really our fault, they should work with Apple and fix it. Anyone having any issues with their Pro after upgrading to Sierra? For me, it seems like my modifier keys are randomly being pressed when I'm using the tablet. So out of nowhere shift, control, command, alt, etc will just be pressed. Also, the cursor gets stuck for a second or so every now and then. Been pretty disastrous for my workflow. I'm the only one in my office who has upgraded to Sierra, checked my coworkers tablets on my computer, and it does it with all of their tablets, so definitely a software thing. Disk Utility will create a.cdr file from the disc. On a Mac, this is practically as good as an ISO file. You can “mount” it from within the Disk Utility application by clicking File > Open Disk Image. Assuming you just want to use the.cdr file on a Mac, you can leave it as a.cdr file. Wacom and Sierra are NOT playing well together at all. I had to roll my system back to 10.11.x so that I could get work done. The big problem I was having was the pen was registering a Double-Click any time you clicked somewhere. I started a support case with Wacom tech support yesterday. Maybe if more people can get their cases logged, we can get a fix for this. The support agent told me they plan to release a new driver 3rd or 4th week of October. Let's try and see if we can force a fix prior to then. Started a support thread myself, didn't go very well. Asked a few questions about if they were aware of all the problems, and if they were working on a fix, etc. Questions went completely unanswered in the reply I got from their rep. Instead she kept insisting that: • Sierra was not supported (I had already referred to their own tweet confirming Sierra support) • I should uninstall drivers and try again (I already informed her that I had tried that several times) • I should download the.exe driver she had linked and install it on my Mac (stated in original mail that this was a Mac/Sierra problem). I wrote back, asked for answers on my original questions, and told her that Windows files/drivers do not work on Mac. 'As I informed you in my last email, please uninstall drivers and download these: [link to.exe file]' I wrote back and told her that I was not comfortable with her competence level (I said it in a nicer way, though), and asked to be transferred to a different rep. That was two weeks ago, nothing but crickets. Guess she didn't like my tone. Ever since upgrading to Sierra, Wacom tablet has been buggy. First, the driver update caused all kinds of malfunctioning — to the point that reboots still caused crashes at startup without keyboard and mouse control. Had to restart and zap PRAM several times — maybe the first time this decade I’ve had to do that to a Mac. Eventually, tablet became recognized by the systembut now there is much wigginess: behaviour is inconsistent and goes on and off. Basically, unstable and unpredictable. Making my work take longer than necessary. ![]() Kali linux virtualbox for mac. Sierra upgrade is ruining my life — and 3 computers. ![]() Hey,I have found out a solution, worked on my bamboo CTL-671. Here is the steps: 1)Download the 5.3.6-6.dmg file and mount it 2)install the pkg, and it will fail, KEEP the dmg mounted 3)Download the “Pacifist” and use it to extract the package inside the pkg 4)You will need to copy the extracted file to the destiny folder by yourself(e.g. The “contentver” file inside the package should be copy to /tmp use Shift+Command+G), then you will need to double click the PenTablet.prefPane and select change in the System Preference. 5)Reboot your computer and everything will be just fine. May have bugs but it worked! P.S:At first, I thought it’s the changed of system SDK led to the installation failure but not the driver itself, and now it seem that the result support my theory. In fact, if Wacom is willing to let bamboo users use their bamboo on Sierra, they just need to update some specific scripts. So now you can see that it’s not about the incompatible driver make us embarrassed, but the bad attitude towards bamboo users.
